Customers gain new application development collaboration globally and reduced lead times
INDEPENDENCE, MO (February 25, 2020) – PolySource, a distributor of engineered resins, today announced the expansion of its global solutions through the addition of several warehouses throughout Europe.
“Engineering and development teams at our customers can now collaborate more broadly with our technical and sales teams on new applications that extend outside the U.S. market,” states PolySource President, Grant John.
This strategic move was initiated to support current domestic customers with operations in Europe with quick delivery.
John continues, “Significant time is spent solving material challenges with our customers, and now PolySource can see the application to production with stocking material in Europe.”
Procurement and logistics teams are immediately seeing the benefit as PolySource began shipping packaged goods in April 2019, and bulk truck shipment began in July 2019.
Critical considerations were made in site selection. Reputable warehouses were required to offer real-time data sharing, re-packaging/bulk handling, cleanliness and ISO 9001 accreditation. Currently, warehouses are located in The Netherlands, Italy and Lithuania.
